Craziest Thing You've Never Done

Today I'm feelin' a little...frisky.

So here's what I'm proposing. Let me know, in the comments section, about something you have always wanted to try but never have. Maybe skydiving, bungee jumping, scuba diving, a strange food of some kind, getting shot out of a cannon, anything. No matter how outlandish it is. Try and think of something you might possibly do someday and would like to learn more about. You can email me or post on my facebook wall too. I'll explain later when I get a certain number of responses.

Remember, anything goes!

  1. I've always wanted to be an acrobat in the circus, just for one performance. For now, I just jump on my couch.

  4. Nothing crazy for me, I've just always wanted to travel. Maybe a road trip across the country or something, since I'm all the way one this side of it - just go go go to the other side without really thinking about it.

Thanks for stopping by my blog, by the way! :)

  5. I have always wanted to take a canoe trip down a very large river. The Nile, The Amazon, even the Colorado would work. White water and all!
So glad you could make it to the Hot Momma Hop from Anya's Green Baby and me, The Organic Blonde.

  6. I always wanted to White Water Raft. CHECK! I always wanted to Zipline. CHECK! So now, the only extreme thing I would love to do is skydive. I can't imagine the thrill of JUMPING out of a plane.....

  8. Driving a truck! I always wanted to be a truckdriver when I was still a kid. I think I don't have the nerves (and driving talent) for that job, but I'd defnitely want to drive a truck at least once in my live!

  9. Hi! Thanks for coming by and I am following you too.
Well, one thing I have always wanted to do but never have falls under the category of pipe dreams - playing guitar onstage with Eric Clapton.

But the one thing that is more attainable though, is that I would love to go do some humanitarian aid work in foreign countries. Setting up schools, teaching hygiene, giving shots, etc.

  20. I would love to go skydiving or bungee jumping!!! And one day when I have enough money saved up I will go do one of them (or both). Otherwise I've thought og going to the airport, seeing what flight I have enough money for and just taking it to see where I end up.

  21. Okay, jumping out of a plane? Um, NO... not unless is was going DOWN and I had no choice. Bungee jumping? Maybe once upon a time before I had kids. But now...I just can't take that kind of risk with myself. Too many little ones need me! And you never know, that cord could snap. It happens.

I think the craziest thing that I'd ever do is run in a marathon. Why is that crazy? Because I'm not a runner. Not even in the slightest bit. But I think that would be a pretty neat accomplishment ~ especially for someone who doesn't run. I walk. Slowly.

Another crazy thing I'd like to do: give a motivating speech in front of thousands of people. I'd like to inspire....someone....with what, I have no idea. But I must be inspiring at something. Hmmmm. I'll have to give that some thought.

Thanks for visiting my blog tonight, and for your comment. I am now following you :)

  24. I had a VERY wild time in my 20s where I was on a mission to do everything EXTREME (skydive, cliffdive, dirt bike, etc) possible -- but I would love to take a trip to some of the biggest structures (Great Pyramids, Eiffle Tower, Empire State Building, Colliseum, etc.) and do a series of photographs!

Love your blog and happily returing the follow!

  25. It's not a risky, crazy kind of thing, but I've always wanted to ride a train across the country! Thanks for the follow - following back!

  26. I came over not from any blog hop, just because something in the universe told me you'd post a topic I'd be interested today.
I have a girl friend who is very convincing that we will be ziplining in my lifetime. They call it something more romantic, like canopy tours, or balcony views.
Although I worked at auto racetracks for a few decades and eventually my son took his turn behind the wheel, I have never driven a racecar at speed.
Something else I would have done in my younger (more daring)years is ride one of those rollercoaters that takes you through the course backwards. If I can do it forwards, why does going backwards seem more terrifying? (Oops, exhilerating)
I also worked Ren Faires but so far I have not jousted.

  28. There was a time when I wanted to go skydiving. But, as I get older, I think I will pass. But, traveling through Europe alone - that's my idea of adventure.

  34. Thanks for checking out jillejam.com! I'm a happy new follower :D Your skydiving picture made me laugh. When I met my husband he was trying to "show off" all of the stuff he'd done and pulled out a video of when he went skydiving. I had never laughed so hard in my life ~ watching his cheeks blowing in the wind! Thanks for the memory :D

  35. I want to travel to more places. I just got over the hurdle of moving out and traveling this year. (Hawaii being my first stop) I'd really like to face my fear and try new places. California, Austin TX, and Alaska are places I've always wanted to try.

You seem to be getting out there and facing your fears in spite of a challenging budget. Continue being awesome! Thank you so much for visiting my blog!

  38. I'd love to fly in a hot air balloon one day. But since I am afraid of heights (anything higher than standing on a chair), I am not sure how I can try this...

  40. I think I want to go on a zip line in the jungle. It took a lot for me to learn to snorkle but I did it. I even did snuba diving - a good alternative for the not so adventureous. It was pretty cool.

  45. I don't feel the need to try anything. My husband does it all!! He's a skydiver/BASE jumper who has surfed, snowboarded, jumped out of a hot air balloon, helicopter. He scuba dives, rides dirtbikes and motorcycles, etc. I guess I have to be the one that is the calm, unadventurous one. This isn't really adventurous, but I'd like to travel the length of rt. 66 from Chicago to LA! ;) Thanks for stopping by the S&R weekend hop again. See you next weekend!
